As dawn came, a slice of sunlight caught in the top of Paul’s hair, turning it bright gold. Not able to resist, she gently picked up a lock and rubbed the smooth, silky strands between her fingers. She smiled at his peaceful face and that mouth that was slightly curved up even in sleep, making it look as if he were harboring some kind of secret.

Paul had said early on that he would train her a different way. He would teach her to be able to come without the pain. If she trusted him, he would teach her. And he’d done it. She was no longer a slave to pain. What she needed now, all she wanted now, was Paul. Him and his love for her.

She loved this man so much her heart hurt. She would give him everything. Every part of herself freely and willingly.

Caitlin thought back to how another man had demanded that she call him Master. But she had never truly belonged to him.

Paul refused to be called by that name. But even if she never said it out loud, she knew in her heart, that was what he really was.

  Her Master.

  Mind. Body. And soul.

  About Sayara St. Clair

Sayara St. Clair has a Science Degree, majoring in Microbiology and Biochemistry. Working in the fields of serology and tissue banking, she got to do lots of cool and sometimes slightly weird stuff. She was also employed as the manager/buyer for a furniture retail store, where she had a chance to unleash her inner interior decorator. And for a time, she taught English to students in Asia. Now she's a writer and has discovered it's her favorite thing to do. She's also learned that writing sultry, romantic fiction is so much more fun than writing dry old scientific journal articles.

When she's not writing, she's most commonly found on the sofa reading, in the kitchen baking or in the garden planting. She loves eighties music and is prone to spontaneous bouts of dancing.

With regards to vampires and chocolate—she bites one on a daily basis and has had a lifelong obsession with the other. And she's not telling which is which.
